Well, it's May already. I know I kind of missed April, but at least we were busy helping people. I've been seeing quite a few emergencies lately. Broken teeth that just didn't hurt, till last night. Cavaties that weren't hurting till the weekend. The stories usually the same. The answer is also. Solve problems when they're small and managable. With our experience and our high technology, we're here to help! We have Digital X-rays to, not only minimize the amount of x-rays you receive, but also help us view your teeth easier and better. Intra-oral cameras magnify areas that look ok , but aren't. An experienced staff that can help find problems and create solutions to those problems. Sometimes things go wrong despite the best efforts, but why look for future problems when there are issues we can solve now, easily and relatively inexpensively?

With the holidays here, my mind tends to wander towards my family. I think about my relationships with my children, my wife, my brothers and their family. I also think about my family here at the office, Patti, Susan, Sarit, Conlin and every person I've had the pleasure of caring for. I had an interesting experience when I was first in practice. I had the opportunity to do a crown for my father. Of course, I was nervous. This was my father! I completed the procedure and sat back and thought. . . , did I do every thing correctly? did I forget anything? was there anything more I should/could have done to ensure success of my hard work? Then I realized that I had done nothing differently. No special treatment, beyond what I usually do. I was very proud of myself for this realization. I had treated all of my patients as well as I did my own father.
I love the holidays. Surrounded by family.

It's Monday

Hello again, it's Monday. Just sitting at my desk before lunch. I had a wonderful morning. It's very satisfying to be able to help people with their smile. I'm very lucky! I really enjoy my job. So, that statement usually leads to a question. "How can you enjoy sticking your fingers into other peoples mouth?" Well, it's not that I enjoy sticking my fingers in other peoples mouth, that part I just don't seem to mind. What I enjoy is helping people get healthy and stay healthy. Having a beautiful, confident smile is such a big part of who we all are. You've seen people cover their mouth when their smiling or laughing. How awful. Smile big, laugh hard and enjoy life.
